Project Goals
The goal of the Landmark Café Mini Brand was to create a strong identity that reflects the café’s retro coastal charm while appealing to both locals and tourists. By combining nostalgic boating-inspired visuals, a coastal color palette, and versatile logo systems, the branding needed to establish a strong presence across menus, signage, merchandise, and social media.
Ultimately, the aim was to strengthen customer recognition, convey warmth and authenticity, and position Landmark Café as third place where you can commune with others over coffee and good food.
Unused Concepts
Not every idea made it to the final branding, but each unused concept played a critical role in shaping the Landmark Café identity. From alternate handmade typography explorations to playful logo variations and illustrative motifs, these concepts allowed us to test mood, tone, and visual storytelling. Reviewing these explorations helped refine the final design, ensuring a cohesive, polished brand that balances retro coastal charm with modern versatility.
