Katie Levesque Photography

Katie Levesque Photography is a photography business with a heart to create memorable, heirloom quality photos to pass down for generations. Her photography experience began in a garden, and has since bloomed into capturing real and beautiful moments of families, seniors, and couples. Whether a family is welcoming their first baby into their life or their sending off their 18-year-old to college, Katie thrives in making mementos that last.

We worked together on a two-week timeline to create a primary logo, submark logo, color palette, font pairings, and mini brand book.

A vintage-inspired and sophisticated visual identity that showcases Katie’s heirloom style photography.

MEANING BEHIND THE LOGO

Having a daffodil in the logo was important to Katie because of it’s significance in her life. It’s symbolic of spring, new life, and hope, while also nodding to memories of her dad and how he encouraged her towards photography. This daffodil was carefully traced from her photography from over a decade ago, as she began to take interest in the craft. We wanted into to feel like a wax seal, which is a nod to how her dad would seal letters to her, as well as to her desire to create heirlooms that can be passed down for generations.
